REVMIC Engineering, Maintenance & Training (Pty) Ltd is a South African, 100% black-owned engineering company based in Postmasburg, Northern Cape. We specialise in steel fabrication, structural and plant maintenance, and shutdown support services for the mining and mineral processing sectors — and are building out a skills training division aligned to recognised industry frameworks, to develop the artisans this industry depends on.
Strategically located in the heart of the Northern Cape mining belt, REVMIC is positioned to serve the region's iron ore, manganese, and zinc mining operations with fast-response, cost-effective engineering solutions delivered by a qualified and safety-conscious team.

What We Do
We deliver a focused suite of engineering services designed to meet the operational demands of South Africa's mining and mineral processing sectors.
Design, cutting, welding, and assembly of structural steel components, platforms, walkways, guards, chutes, and custom fabrications to client specification.
Scheduled and reactive maintenance of plant equipment, conveyors, screens, crushers, and structural steelwork to maximise uptime and equipment life.
Provision of skilled boilermakers, welders, and supervisors for planned shutdowns, ensuring rapid mobilisation and safe execution within tight timelines.
On-site engineering support for open-cast mining operations including equipment repairs, steel modifications, and emergency fabrication works.
Coded and structural welding across MIG, TIG, and arc processes on carbon steel, stainless steel, and wear-resistant materials.
Ability to mobilise tools and equipment directly to client sites across the Northern Cape, reducing downtime and transportation costs.
Skills Development
REVMIC's training division delivers practical skills programmes mapped to recognised industry frameworks, focused on developing competent, work-ready artisans — from foundational trade skills through to occupational qualifications, with application across mining, construction, and other industries.
Foundational SMAW welding competencies for entry-level artisan development.
Practical plumbing hand-skills programme covering domestic water supply and drainage repair.
Safe selection, use, and maintenance of hand tools for entry-level mining and industrial roles.
Safe operation and maintenance of power tools used in mining and mineral processing environments.
Practical grounding in personal and household financial planning, budgeting, and money management.
Core digital skills covering computer fundamentals and everyday workplace software use.
Foundational emergency response skills, including basic life support, wound care, and incident management for the workplace.
Introductory fire safety training covering fire behaviour, extinguisher use, and safe emergency response procedures.
Practical trade skills covering brickwork, blockwork, and paving techniques for construction and maintenance projects.
Hands-on woodworking and carpentry skills, from basic joinery to structural timberwork applications.
Programmes are structured against SETA, QCTO, and SAQA frameworks, so learners build toward recognised, transferable qualifications.
Delivery is workshop-based and skills-focused, giving learners real, applied competence rather than classroom theory alone.
Facilitators are skilled artisans with hands-on experience across the construction, engineering, and mining sectors, bringing real-world practice directly into the training room.

Leadership
REVMIC is led by two founding directors whose complementary skills create a well-rounded leadership team capable of delivering technically excellent and commercially sound results.
Ryan Fisher is a qualified boilermaker and welder with a strong mechanical and engineering background gained through hands-on experience in steel fabrication, plant maintenance, and mining equipment repairs. He brings extensive practical expertise in structural steelwork and on-site maintenance in the Northern Cape mining sector.
In addition to his technical skills, Ryan serves as a supervisor and training coordinator at his current employment, demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring capabilities that underpin REVMIC's operational and safety culture.
Leeanus de Castro brings 17 years of banking and financial management expertise, having served as a Business Banker and Business Manager at Standard Bank of South Africa. His deep understanding of business finance, credit management, cash flow planning, and client relationship management provides REVMIC with a strong commercial and administrative foundation.
As Office and Financial Manager, Leeanus oversees financial reporting, procurement, compliance, and the company's strategic business development activities.
